I found that even in media explicitly centering women in STEM, misogyny and a lack of diversity often undermine the attempts to empower a new generation of scientists.

In our podcast Cosmopolitics, my co-host Deb Kwon and I appreciate, criticize, and discuss the hottest topics in pop culture. From the most Tweeted-about TV shows, movies, and celebrities to bigger cultural studies concepts such as copaganda, misogyny, colorism, and LGBTQ+ issues, we cover it all.
